Established in 1922, in the basement of the public library, the Akron Art Museum has grown into one of the country's premiere visual arts organizations. In recent years, a beautiful new building has been constructed adjacent to the old one, increasing the museum's gallery space to 20,000 square feet, and adding such amenities as a dining area, a soaring glass and steel lobby, a children's gallery, and an auditorium. The Museum lies in the heart of town, a few blocks west of Grace Park.

Adults $7; Senior(65+) and Student $5; Children(12 and under) free.
